Rent a Boat
A wonderful way to explore the Dalmatian coastline is to rent a boat. There are numerous hidden treasures to be found both on and off the mainland. Did you know there’s a restaurant off the coast of Cavtat that is only accessible by boat or kayak?
Our rent a boat service includes a fully equipped, small 5hp boat. The maximum capacity is 6 persons, but the boat is perfectly suited for a couple seeking privacy and solitude away from the crowds. The boat includes a sunshade and a ladder for easy accessibility. One of our guides will show you how to operate the boat and stay with you in the harbor until s/he is comfortable you are able to safely and confidently operate it. This usually takes around 15 minutes. Upon request, the guide will also give you tips on where to find points of interest in the area.
We’ve rented our boats to thousands of people and issues are extremely rare. Prior to departure, the guide will provide you with all boat documents, life jackets, two complimentary sets of masks & snorkels, and a map of the area. The map outlines safe and unsafe locations, anchor points, islands, reefs, beaches, and a restaurant only accessible by boat or kayak. As an added safety precaution, we also provide you with a mobile phone. The boat comes with a full tank. You pay only for the boat rental and the petrol you’ve consumed upon returning the boat.
Upon request, and subject to availability, you may also rent fishing line (traditional style), additional masks & snorkels, and an icebox/cooler. We recommend that in the hotter, high season months, you store water in the cooler as the temperatures can often become quite warm. There is a grocery store just around the corner from the harbor.
